Parafibromin/Hyrax activates Wnt/Wg target gene transcription by direct association with [beta]-catenin Armadillo
Article Abstract:
A novel Wnt/Wg pathway component that mediates the transcriptional outputs of Armadillo is identified. The results of the study assign to the tumor suppressor Parafibromin an unexpected role in Wnt signalling and provide a molecular mechanism for Wnt target gene control, in which the nuclear Wnt signaling complex directly engages the PAF1 complex, thereby controlling transcriptional initiation and elongation by RNA Polymerase II.

Human RISC couples microRNA biogenesis and posttranscriptional gene silencing
Article Abstract:
The complex of RISC composed of dicer, the double-stranded RNA binding protein TRBD and argonaute2 can cleavage target RNA using precursor microRNA (pre-miRNA) hairpin as the source of siRNA were studied. The results define the composition of RISC and demonstrated that processing and target-RNA cleavage were coupled.

Integrator, a multiprotein mediator of small nuclear RNA processing, associates with the C-terminal repeat of RNA polymerase II
Article Abstract:
An RNA polymerase II complex that contained at least 12 novel subunits, termed the integrator, in addition to core RNA polymerase II (RNAPII) subunits was described. Two of the Integrator subunits display similarities to the subunits of the cleavage and polyadenylation.
